RMW Tuition is operated by Ruben Martin-Ward.I provide one-to-one online English and Film Studies tuition for GCSE and A-Level students. RMW Tuition was established in 2026.

I may collect personal information when you:- contact me by email;
- contact me through my Facebook page;
- book a lesson using my Google Calendar booking page;
- provide information during our correspondence.This may include:- your name;
- your email address;
- your telephone number (if provided);
- information relating to lesson bookings;
- information you choose to share when making an enquiry;
- information about the student (such as year group or subjects studied);
- any information you choose to include in your message.If you contact me through Facebook, your communication will be subject to Meta's privacy policy. If you book a lesson using Google Calendar, Google will process certain personal information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

I use this information to:- respond to enquiries;
- arrange lessons;
- communicate about tuition;
- take payments;
- keep records of bookings and payments;
- maintain student records and lesson notes;
- meet legal and safeguarding obligations.

4. Student Information

To provide tuition, I may keep records related to each student. These may include lesson dates, attendance, lesson notes, homework, progress notes and assessment results where appropriate.Where appropriate, I communicate with parents or guardians regarding lessons and progress.I may also keep limited information that a parent or guardian chooses to share to support the student's learning or wellbeing during tuition.

Personal information is stored securely and accessed only when necessary for the purposes of providing tuition and administering my business.While no method of storing or transmitting information online can be guaranteed to be completely secure, I take reasonable steps to protect the information I hold.

6. Who I Share Information With

I only share personal information when necessary to provide tuition or comply with legal obligations. This may include:- Google Calendar;
- Google Meet;
- Meta (if contacted through Facebook).

I do not currently use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies on this website.This website contains links to third-party services, including Google Calendar and Facebook. If you use these services, they may collect and process personal information according to their own privacy policies (see Section 2 above).This website may use essential cookies provided by Carrd to ensure that the website functions correctly.

8. How Long I Keep Information

I keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide tuition and to comply with my legal and accounting obligations.Student records are kept for the duration of the tutoring relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you have follow-up questions.Enquiries that do not lead to tutoring are retained briefly before being deleted.When personal information is no longer needed, it will be securely deleted.

- Right to rectification - ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
